All, Several weeks ago I took my IC-7000 to Galveston and used it to activate the Tall Ship Elissa for Museum Ships Weekend. Our station was setup on the pier along side the ship under an awning.

A Cat 5 cable has 8 wires while there are 10 pins for the connectors for the separation cable. ? Consider connecting two separation cables in series.? The connectors are compatible.? In addition

Does anyone make a separation cable that is longer than the original. Traded trucks and need one that is about three feet longer than the original cable or will have to put radio under front seats

That is the clock chip backup for the time display. It is a rechargable cell that is soldered in. To replace it you will have to remove the circuit board.This begs the question... do you really care
