sounds like the band scope is scanning, try turning off the band scope or pause the scan wrote:

No Data mode on the IC7000 Audio on the 13 pin is summed with the two mic inputs so if using that connector you will want to unplug the mic(s) PTT on the miniDIN6 will mute both mics and the 13 pin
