Re: Hello to the group, and an IC-7000 problem.
I would say your dah problem is the bandscope. Change the lower part of the display off the bandscope on to another option it will go away. This is the slow processing process in the 7k. The bandscope

There is a pulsating sound associated with the scope, especially when the sweep speed is high. I think there is a menu item to decrease this sound. ?VY 73 de W3UECSteve DubinA clear conscience is

Re: No TX audio on JS8CALL
Thanks everyone for the input. (had to do my real job for a few days, so will be back to work on it now.)
To be clear on my setup: I’m using DIN 6 for audio, rx and tx, but using CAT for tx rx.

Re: No TX audio on JS8CALL
No Data mode on the IC7000
Audio on the 13 pin is summed with the two mic inputs so if using that connector you will want to unplug the mic(s)
PTT on the miniDIN6 will mute both mics and the 13 pin

Re: No TX audio on JS8CALL
Do you have to put the radio into usb-d mode?, or am I confusing this with the 746 pro?
Would you believe? Sent from my shoe phone's big brother and still no keyboard. Please excuse auto connections

Re: No TX audio on JS8CALL
Thanks Carl….
more questions / advice (before you tear the rig apart)
1. have you ever been able to work digital modes with your 7K (or any rig)?
2. do you have anything other than the Unitek

Re: No TX audio on JS8CALL
JD - going in through DATA connector, 6 pin DIN, and separate CAT cable. I’m trying to get one of the AX.25 programs working, so I can try on FM, which will be a different modulator.
Glenn - yeah
