Unusual. VHF and UFH use separate PA transistors. Check to see what the current draw on those bands is and if you see a large SWR. There might be a problem between the transistors and the antenna connector.

My 7000 keys but no output on either 2 or uhf frequency hf and 6 meters work perfectly ?any help to diagnose would be grateful? Rupert 6y5rw?
