Hello folks.? Looking to the braintrust for some input.? My 7000 shuts down when I key the mic.? Its installed in my pickup under backseat.? 10M is roof center 2/3s to the rear of truck roof.? 2M antenna is on lip mount on right side of hood close to front.
I know its not a low voltage issue.??I have it hooked directly to a fully charged LiFePO4 100ah battery (13.4v fully charged).? Voltage drop when keyed is less than a tenth of a volt.? The radio is grounded with a 12" 12awg wire directly to mounting bolt of seat belt (so excellent ground).
I thought an RFI issue, but even when RF Power is turned totally down(</=5w, it still shuts off.??
What am I missing???? Any help would be great appreciated.
