I am using the 13-pin cable... with the West Mountain P&P.... you will be fine. Your time has value - the pre-tested cables are generally well worth the cost. On the rare occasion that I found that I was unable to get TX, it was always associated with one of two things - either I was not on USB (some other mode), or I had the wrong audio sink selected (I use Win11/10, Linux, and macOS). I generate CW from the normal key line / rig jack on the rear apron. 73's, Glenn -----Original Message-----

The cable works fine on my FT-817, but no joy on the FT-7000. That is why this problem was very frustrating to figure out. I just broke down and ordered another digirig and DIN 13 cable. I like to have all of the radios "fixins'" with it in a go kit. That get's expensive, but there is nothing worse than grabbing a box or a bag thinking you have everything you need only to find out you don't out in the field. That is why if I am taking a road trip and operating from the car I take a couple of different systems. If I forget something, or if some part of the chain breaks, I have another setup to fall to. At least that is my excuse :D Thanks es 73 de Chris KQ6UP On Thu, Oct 26, 2023 at 11:08?AM John Denison <kd5you@...> wrote:
