Yes...I would agree...but in over 10 yrs...on a radio thatbis loved by so many...why wouldn't you entertain that option...the remote head cable was always awkward and I could never understand the reason for the why they set it up the way they did...it is so awkward in a mobile setup.? That cable is always in the way...yaesu..kenwood.? they hide theirs in the back...
