My initial plan was exactly what you did but I wasn't clear about how to?connected the pad to microphone points 2 and 7.? The last time I tried to make a modular mic plug it ended up in a big mess (couldn't seem to get the flimsy ground wire into the plug). Gave up and ordered a cord with an RJ45 one each end.


So how did you wire the unit in?? Through the modular mic plug or internally? Via the back mic jack?

Made my own for a few bucks. Just follow the diagram in the manual. Works like a charm. Only accesses the 4 memories, though.
