I meant lead length on the resistors used in the dummy load. Negligible at HF, slight at VHF, bothersome at UHF. I think due to line losses, you could make a dummy load out of a few hundred feet of line... No reflected, means no SWR? Expensive...
I don't think he is getting a real SWR reading, as the SWR meter on the 7K does not work on VHF/UHF. Needs an external one. Often, a 2 meter antenna, though it should, will not tune on 440.
