That¡¯s what I run mobile (1 for my 7000 and 1 for my 8800). I use the unamplified one and it will handle 12W of audio, it is very loud and very clear. Subject: RE: [IC-7000] Mobile speaker? ? It's pretty hard to beat the old Motorola speakers that you can find at most hamfests. You just have to put a new cable and correct plug on it for ham use. Paint it to match your vehicle interior, if you'd prefer.
