It's been awhile since I looked at the schematic but I think there is a 38
KHz crystal in the radio for the RTC circuit. If there is no "padder"
capacitor to adjust, the only solution is to replace the xtal. You would
need to know the xtal "capacitance" as they are available in several types
dependent on the RTC chip's needs.
