Thanks for the lead. I changed the settings to allow subscribers to upload files. Try it again. On Mon, Oct 28, 2019 at 05:53 PM, redrock wrote: Roy, still not able to upload files. This post may be the issue: |

Yes, members can upload files. Since you are a new member in this group, you were automatically on moderation. You are now unmoderated. Try it now and see if it works for you. Upload files -- subscriber permission
I was unable to upload an IBM benefits file to the files section. Do subscribers have permission to upload files??
The file I was attempting to upload is attached to this post. 10/29/19 edit? - attachment deleted as it is now available in files section of this group. |
Re: IBMPension Group
Yes Bill Reace, there is a way to migrate all of the messages from the Yahoo ibmpension group to this groups.io ibmpension group. However, it requires an owner/moderator of the Yahoo ibmpension group to initiate it. My guess is that they would not be interested in doing this.

Re: IBM dials $400 million contribution for non-U.S. plans in 2018
Yeah, there was no increase in '08, only the threat to do so. It is what it is! Don On Thu, Mar 1, 2018 at 7:53 PM, Huel Young <huelyoung@...> wrote:

re:2008, The only pension increase that I remember was in the late 1990's; I believe it was 1998, and was about 2% which didn't cover the increase in medical insurance costs transferred to the retirees.? I'm thankful for our retiree benefits; could have been much? worse, and could have been much better.?? Huel? ? |
Re: IBM dials $400 million contribution for non-U.S. plans in 2018
As I recall, the last indication that IBM was intending to add to the US pensioner's income was in 2008, just before the bottom fell out of the economy. It has been silence since then.. Fortunately, social security ratchets up based on the cost of living index and personal investment income has been solid. IBM dials $400 million contribution for non-U.S. plans in 2018
"Most of the contributions will go to pension plans in Japan, Spain and the U.K., according to the filing. The company contributed $638 million to the non-U.S. plans in 2016. IBM does not plan to make any contributions to the U.S. plans because it's not legally required. No contributions to those plans were made in 2017." |
