Unfortunately, Yahoo groups does not currently have such a setting to automatically ignore users as far as I know. I wish they did. They do have an "Ignore User" function on the Yahoo finance boards such as this one: although that board is a waste of anyone's time except the pump and dumpers.
When I say ignore most of the posters on the ibmpension group, I mean that I just look at the Conversations list and just skip over any posts made by primos, trex, etc.

My blood pressure went way down when I decided to ignore most of the posters on the ibmpension group. madinpok is one of the few posters whose messages I take the time to read. The good news is that the majority of the posters on ibmpension that I have on "ignore" are not members here, and I hope it stays that way.
