You have the direction reversed, Pranav. You need to use the -L option and not -R when you define the tunnel. You want ssh to forward operations on the local ports (Windows/WSL) to the remote ports

Hi J¨¹rgen, I am making some mistake. My linux system is at 192.168.88.3 while my windows machine where I am running wsl is at 192.168.88.4. The linux machine is running the IB gateways.
