This is very strange. I can’t understand why your setup should behave differently from mine. We’re both using the same versions of TWS and IBC. My original check was on my paper-trading account, but it’s the same with my live account: no sign whatsoever of that dialog.

In order to gather more information, please do the following:

1. Shut down IBC/TWS.
2. Delete any existing logfiles for today.
3. Make the following settings in config.ini (down at the bottom of the file):

LogStructureScope=unknown

LogStructureWhen=open

?

4. Run IBC/TWS.
5. When the offending dialog has been displayed, close TWS.
6. Reset the changed settings in config.ini.
7. Send me the logfile: the whole of it please. And please attach it: don’t quote it. It’s much easier for me to handle if it’s in a file rather than in the text of a post.
