开云体育Just for some information here......... for anyone who wants to get PCBs made in a fabrication house...... The bare minimum requirement to get a single sided copper PCB will be to provide 4 files. 1. ONE copper bottom layer as a gerber file. 2. ONE solder mask file...also called RESIST file..... which defines where to have holes in the solder mask epoxy to expose cope to solder to. Note that some fab houses will accept a drill file that tells where to put those solder mask holes while other fab houses will only accept a gerber file for a maks file. 3. ONE EXCELLON format drill file which says where to poke holes in the PCB 4. ONE boarder outline gerber file that says how to slice the PCB to the correct size. ? ALL OTHER files can be omitted. They don't care if you have a silk screen to print on the top or the bottom.
Here is a perfect example of that minimalist file
set...zipped and send to OSHPARK that they created these two images then delivered the PCBs so..... all I am saying here is that if you have to reverse engineer a schematic and you get as far as a schematic...... you really don't need the silk screen artwork to get more PCBs made. Have fun. I did. Rob KB3BYT On 01/05/2020 09:09 PM, Dave wrote:
