? Ok on the environment. Figured that but didn't know if there was more to it than that.
I know that lead free needs higher temps and components also need to be able to take the higher temps, but I didn't know about the joint quality. But it always seemed like lead flows better.
Good point on the reflow oven issue with 2 types of solder. I will stick to tin/lead like my original plan. :)
