It's way way way more like C than not.
It's not a procedural language, what you assign stays for the
whole duration unless it's in a loop.? Makes an important
difference in how you describe objects.
Try designing some board holder supports (you *do* want the main
board holder made from metal), a panavise board holder is a good
idea.

Well I used to program in VB6 so a lot of that pertains here to in
