8' pitch is unison pitch, the same pitch as a piano. 16 is an octave below, 5 1/3 a fifth above, and 4 an octave above. Playing the middle C key with the first four drawbars out, you should hear. C

Sounds as though the plastic cup may have got knocked off the top of the TG at sometime. In the absence of the cup adding oil through the hole, slowly,? should be fine. --
