Re: A100 popping on switching speeds
A cap across the switch contacts, anywhere in the circuit. There should be one inside the 147 at the relay but it may have failed. 0.1 is standard but 0.047 would work.

I heard the Zombies in Salt Lake City last year, opening for Brian Wilson. They were excellent, and the keyboard playing was an inspiration. Best wishes, Jack Lyon

Nice XK Solo
from a 2014 performance by the Zombies at San Francisco's Stern Grove Festival. As much as this song is a bit of a relic, that Hammond sounds as relevant as ever. :) https://youtu.be/5ZxP1Gt5Lio?t=814

Re: Leslie 251 amplifier rebuild (component layout diagram)

As Scott points out, such a layout diagram doesn't exist unless someone has drawn it themselves. The reason a layout diagram for the AO-28 is so handy is because it's a complex circuit with parts and

I should have also said: drawing your own layout part by part will also help you verify that the parts are correct when you compare to the schematic. Rich Reid 208-861-9263 Sent: Wednesday, June 17,

It doesn't exist! Another reason to make your own drawing as I suggested earlier. Are you afraid that the amp had previously been mis-wired? "Death caps" refers to a very specific set of caps on the

If you haven't already stripped the amp out you could take a photo of the amp underside with your phone. I do this just about every time I have to remove or disconnect wires and/or components on gear

There would always be a certain amount of signal loss when mixing the two signals together. Depending on how much volume you want, you may be able to compensate by turning the volume up on the Leslie
