Re: vintage semiconductors & vacuum tubes available

Yes, that was my assumption as well. Now I know it doesn't work that way.
Yes, the spreadsheets have been posted on several emails lists.

I see them now, sorry for missing the tabs.? I had the idea that there were 2 separate spreadsheets after reading the original email....

Anyway, an?interesting approach.? Are you posting the sheets anywhere else?? Just curious, as I said, I am interested in things in my basement finding good homes and wondering about good ways to do this.

Good morning,
If you open the spreadsheet, down at the bottom you will see two tabs. One of them is labeled as a tab for the tubes, the other one is labeled as a tab for the vintage semiconductors.?
Please try again and let me know if you have success or not.

Hi Robin,
The 2 spreadsheet links seem to be the same.

I am in a not-dissimilar situation, not getting any younger while sitting on a moderate size collects of vintage semiconductors and some boxes of tubes.? ?To say nothing of lots of other electronic parts and gizmos.? And the 3 organs waiting for my tlc (M100, CV and C3).

I am in the New England Vintage Electronics Club ().? ?We were originally the antique radio club, re-branded as the vintage electronics club.? This to widen the audience and scope/range of interests.? We're pretty active, but decidedly of the more yesterdays than tomorrows age bracket.? ?As electronics folks move on to the comet tail, more and more stuff comes on to the scene.

So, what you are doing, making lists of available parts, with some testing and pricing, is interesting to me.? ?I wonder where how you are marketing these parts (and how it is working out).? ?Just hammondzone?? ?Antique radio forum?? AWA?? ?There are some guys running a transistor museum.?

Perhaps ebay is the most sensible place, reaching the widest audience of people that might be looking for that obscure transistor that went out of production in 1965....

(Glad to go offline with this conversation as it is probably annoying to the tonewheel crew, somewhat OT!)

I have a collection of 60s', 70's & 80's vintage semiconductors available. I've begun a Google spreadsheet with descriptions as best as I can find information. Several of these devices are of germanium construction.
Several seem to have "in house" or non-standard numbers on them, making identification difficult or impossible since they were out of production before the Internet. Some are gold plated. Some similar items (not mine) are posted for sale at what seems like ridiculous prices via eBay. The spreadsheet is here:

I also have a collection of vacuum tubes available, listed in a separate Google spreadsheet:
The tubes listed on that spreadsheet have been tested as noted using an Eico 666 tester. The tube list is a living document..there are more tubes to be tested and added to the list.?

I'm trying to reduce my collection of "stuff" before I retire. Feel free to inquire regarding transactions. I accept payments via PayPal, Zelle and personal check with time for the bank. I'm happy to properly pack and ship. I use PirateShip.com for reduced costs via USPS & UPS services.
