Also, you would want a minimum 400V, preferably 600V, rating on that 1 or 1.5 microfarad capacitor.? (Admittedly I do not know what voltage is actually impressed on the capacitor during operation, but better to have the high voltage rating for anything connected to the mains.)
120 volt 60hz or 234 volt 50 Hz power? The schematics specify
2.5uF for 120 volt organs, and I know the start capacitors in UK
organs are marked 1.25uF. I also know from experience that either
1uF or 1.5uF capacitors work fine in UK organs. My usual supplier
doesn't list a 1.25uF part, but I've never had a problem with
either alternative.
