Oh! On re-reading, I see that it already comes with a Leslie. We
could assume that the R-100 is already wired for it. I would be
insisting that you compel the seller to read the model badge on
the Leslie, or, failing that, the model badge right on the amp.
Three half-moons shouldn't denote anything solid-state.

Practically any Leslie would work, but it would be critical to
know which TYPE, or CLASS of Leslie this organ is already wired
for. Are you positive that you can't get the seller to take a
good picture of the insides?

I've been offered a Hammond R-100 console with a Leslie.
Unfortunately the owner passed away and his son is the person
selling it and is trying to do it from a number of states away
from the organs location. The organ is currently in storage. The
only pic available is the front of the organ and shows 3 half
moons. The instrument is 2 hours away from me. I hate to make
the drive if it's a complete waste of time, so I'm looking for a
clue as to what Leslie models would generally be used with this
series organ. The three switches lead me to assume it will be a
solid state, but have no clue about anything else. I haven't
been able to find much info online.
Thanks for any help!
