Always check added on jacks before pluging anything into them, I have seen
mains voltage hooked up to a 1/4 inch cable for Leslie switching, and have
heard of dangerous non standard uses of connectors and jacks.
I have seen people use 1/4/inch plugs so the can have a choice between a
halfmoons and a footswitches when controlling a 147, imagine if someone
thought it was an input and plugged their gutar in there, not good.

Hi,
The jack on the front is headphones, it's a standard fitting. As you
suspect the one on the back is a later addition and could be a line out or
a
line in. Depends what the original owner wanted. Line in sockets were
often fitted for use with rhythm unit accessories or synthesiser/electric
piano type keyboards.
