Sorry if I offended any guitar players out there. There are a lot of
knowledgeable players out there, but if I had a dime for every guitar play
that did not know how to work their gear properly or even tune their guitar.
I am not talking about beginers either, guys who can acually play well.
I end up be the "guitar tech" in the bands I am in, I'll show up 10 minutes
before everyone else and tune the gear up, and set the amps up. Setting up
the amps seems futile though, as most guitar players go by the numbers on
the dials and not by what their ears tell them. It does not take much for
two "Dingle-Arms" with Marshalls, 4x12's and Les Pauls, to reach volume
levels that are a little silly. I think as the jam goes on they get
progressivly deafer, so they keep on turning up, or maybe they dont want
anyone to miss one precious note they play ;-)
Alright I am done ranting now.
Good thing for earplugs or I would be deaf,
