After the following story you will understand that i weant everything the hard way i have now a leslie 125, which is converted from 110v to 220v. the motors run on 117V. But the relais switching is still 110v. My ideal is to be able to use the 125 and 760 at the same time. So i thought i should buy a relais for the 760 that switches on 110v. but the voltage in the 760 is 234v. So i need a relay that will switch beteen 234v with 110v. Then i saw the ss relais. No click!! Ideal! I am thinking of getting 2. One for the 125 also. But now you are saying that my 760 already has a ss relay? You also said that I can't operate it with the kit from the leslie 125. Since i want to use both leslies(not nessecerely at the same time), rewiring the 125 kit wouldn't be such a good idea. i was more thinking to connect the 760 AC to the 125 kit. Switching will also be possible with that ss relais. Audio can be taken directly from the speakeroutput if I understand right. But then the 30v problem appears. And off course the broken amp. But i'm going to ask a friend of mine to borrow his multimeter. That way i can measure some values. I know it is the hard way, but in the end i'll be glad when it works! The running current of the two fast motors together would be about 1/4 amp, the starting surge would be higher but shouldn't trouble a 25 amp relay. Chris Clifton There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. These don't give a click when you switch. One thing they cost about 35 dollar. I saw on GOFF the same thing for 50 dollars, or are these special made for leslies? > > The ones I can get in Holland do have the right voltages and can handle 25 amperes. > > Gandert > > > > > > > > Visit The Hammond Zone > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > hammond_zone-unsubscribe@... > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
