Thanks for mentioning Keith Knudson, it brought back a great memory. During
the early 70's my band was playing the hotel circuit and got booked to open a
new Sheraton in Terre Haute, Indiana. We were jamming on Long Train Running
and in walked The Doobies. It turned out they were playing at Indiana State
University the following night and were staying in our hotel. Keith sat in
and we rocked the joint till way past closing time. Well, the next night we
were invited backstage for the Doobie concert. Yes, I great memory.
