Hi guys, My name is Bernie, and I live in Australia. This is
the first time
I've actually wrote to the group, but have read your interesting
letters
and ideas for a few months now.
I have a video at home I listen watch now and then, it's a concert
performed by Roger Walters? ( Not sure of his surname), (ex Pink)
and
friends, Its called the wall, and was performed when the Berlin
Wall came
down, not real sure of the details, but anyhow what remained in
my mind was
the solo part played on a Hammond in 'Another Brick in the Wall'.
It was a
fantastic sound.
I do play myself, unfortunately I don't have a Hammond, but I love
the
sound and quite enjoy listening to a few albums I have such as
Klaus
Wunderlich. My father has of album of a guy named Earle (?) Grant,
and I'm
sure he played a Hammond, but he had quite a unique style of playing.
Cheers,
Bernie Delaney
