¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello to
all
???? I've just come across a leslie
model 610, I didn't get the S/N off of it but in anycase it looks very
interesting and the price seems good. It doesn't have the rotary horn, to my
amazement it actually has speakers that are mounted in a drum that spins, there
is a stationary 8" in the top part along with the two in the drum and then in
the center part is a 15" that faces down. Now in the very bottom part of the
cabinet there is a single speaker mounted in a drum that spins, it looks pretty
cool. I didn't hear it but I imagine that the high freq. speakers in the top
wouldn't be as screaming as a rotary horn, would it be mellower with more bass?
and would it have two speeds or not? Anyways the reason I bring this up is that
I would like to hook it up to my M3 in the livingroom for practicing in the
house. The M3 is in a cedar log house, open beam with hardwood floors and I
think it would sound cool in there, I'm not planning on giging with this set
just looking for that Hammond rush again. Any thoughts on different types of
leslies on different organs etc.
