Lost Cw machine
Hello Bob, hello everyone. Logger32 version: 4.0.335. The number 13 icon in the toolbar is off, as if it were open, except that it's closed. I looked at the lost windows section, but it doesn't appear. For your information, I have several configured instances. Only one of which is configured as SO2R, and the CW machine is configured as software (not WinKeyer), as well as the macros. Out of curiosity, I searched the L32 folders for the CW executable files; all of them open an empty machine. I also searched the INI files. I can't find any with the macros configured. This might seem like a ridiculous question, but not to a computer neophyte like me. I want to add ft8 to my modes; right now it will show up in the digital section, but I would like to have it as a separate file for awards. How do I go about doing such a thing? Have tried several ways, but keep hitting a stonewall. Would appreciate a (very) simplified description of how to do it if possible. Can't even set it up in the bandplan section.

CW Machine

Hello, I want to use CW machine with Winkeyer 2 in the window config. When I click on Keyer Setup, the CW Machine window closes ant it is impssible to access to thr Winkeyer 2 config window. I read the help file page 640 but I found nothing that could help me. Any idea ? Tks for help. 73's. Jean-Claude F6HDH

Hello All I purchased a new PC with Windows 10, For Many years i used Windows 7 and had Logger32 working great. I am attempting to install Logger32 v4 on my new PC but no matter what i do as soon as i open the program windows tells me it encountered a problem and shuts down? Ive googled endlessley for a solution for weeks now and know that Logger32 aint the issue but Windows 10. I have read all the stuff about running as administrator etc but everytime i download and install the program it comes with that shield symbol and off i go on another endless loop! Windows 10 is still double dutch to me so just wondering if any experts out there that can explain what im doing wrong somewhere along the line?? As far as i can see it seems that Logger32 download is the only one that ive had issues with as ive more or less downloaded and installed everything that i had on my win 7 machine Regards Dave

Delete QSO Problem

I broght this up before but continue to have a problem. If I want to delete a QSO from log (usually a QSO within last 5 min) I select the QSO. Then it asks am I sure. I say yes. Then the program quits. When I bring up the program again and ask to delete the QSO for the second time it works fine.

DX spot map, wrong country

Hi all, Have you ever wondered why a spot icon is placed in the wrong country in the DX Spot map window? This only occurs from Non-RBN sources. Seems to happen a lot some times, then nothing for days etc. If a spot is sent to the cluster with a Locator (6 fig) in the comments then that locater appears to take precedence over the country location which is OK, unless the spot includes the locator of the sender and not the DX. Also happens when both locators are sent in the comments, perhaps it only take the 1st one? Trivial I know, but may throw up other issues. 73, Tony G2NF.

Previous QSOs window

Bob, I have an operator in my log that has been worked a lot. When logger32 looks up this callsign it looks like its totaling the QSOs up 3 different times. Because the number appears and disappears two times then finally appears. Just figured i let you know since it seems like maybe there is some bug in the code causing it to fire off 3 times. Joe N3XLS

Not sure what is going on... Initially was having a DEP issue with W10. That was corrected now having the above problem. Help! thanks in advance, Randy, KF4O

Has anyone successfully interfaced the IC-705 with Logger32? I have no trouble interfacing N1MM, JTDX, WSJT-X, MMTTY, and FLdigi just Logger32. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks, Art - W1AJT / VE3UTT

DX Spots acting odd

I have noticed "worked" stations not showing up in "?" column and other station marked "X" that I haven't worked. I did a log recalculate (10am to 7pm) and there are still unexplainable errors in the "?" column. Might this be an issue with the contact "mode" ?

Hi, I had been often asked about that, and now, I am facing the question myself: How to get the band data out from Logger32, so that it can be used for an amplifier to follow the band the Radio/Logger32 is on? Naturally, getting that directly from the radio is not possible as there is no such an option, so the only way to make it is using a PC's COMport. Perhaps there is some kind of bridge-software or so, please? Best regards, Alec SP2EWQ

L32 LogSync feature request, QO-100 Dx Club upload
Hello Rick Sorry for posting this question a second time (first time on your website), but I thought this place might be more suitable for a possible discussion... if you allow it. I am a short time member of the QO-100 Dx Club and I found a way to automatically upload QSOs to the club website, just like I do on LOTW, QRZ etc. There is an API on the qo100dx.club website that could do this. Is there a chance that this could be implemented in L32 LogSync? Maybe as an extension of the Webside upload function? hi all, i have a problem with logger 32 it stops by itself, after 5 - 10 minutes. version 4.0.335, win 10 64bit. in event viewer it gives error MSVBVM60.DLL, i replaced .dll and it still does the same. i reinstalled logger32 from scratch. has anyone encountered this problem?

Hello, It's some times that I have a regular problem with logger32 : "Error 13 (Type incompatible) in procedure doDisplayQRZ of module mQRZ. Error line 490 Logger32:4.0.335" and after several times, the message say "Too many errors. Error checking temporarily disabled" I NOW found the raison, and I can product it each time I want : It's only when I click on VU4AX callsign (on bands maps or DX spots window) ! Can you help me to solve this strange problem ? The text inside QRZ Lookup windows maybe contain invalid caracters ?? Tnx, Franck F8ADY
