Harob stayed nice and steady, drawing one round and winning the rest. The other pairs all had ups and downs; our substitutes did quite well, drawing Harob and losing only to Garbot, good for a tie for second. Garbot peaked just a little too early, rallying from losing the first two rounds to get into a tie for the lead after Board 16.

Jerik got to use their 2NT opening bid on Board 17. The cards were a bit more game-minded this hand than they have been lately. The one good slam of the set came on the last board, and was reached by Marbot.
