Our visiting pair Gel won seven rounds, losing only to Pich and Jerik. Keianne, Shane and Lark also won seven rounds of the nine. Conndy and Glotin made big pushes in the second half.

There were more slams than usual today. Board 1 had a good 6H and a lucky 6NT. Board 8 had a hand with two quick losers in one suit, but most of the field made a bad overcall and directed the wrong lead. Board 11 had a near-claimer that proved too difficult for everyone but Conndy and Glotin to find; in fact, it was the hand that started their comebacks. Board 13 had fireworks around a possibly-useful void. THere was a nice stop out of game on Board 9 and an 1100 penalty on Board 15.
