Jamob did not quite need their top on the last board to win, but they did need their big last round of 283.3 as Joll scored 288.9 for the round to make it close. Both pairs and Kill won five rounds out of the six. Michbot were in second place entering the last round but dropped back.

Cindy almost stole first N-S when her Robot overheated on Board 14 and bid a grand slam off a cashable ace without asking for key cards first, but Rita had to find the lead of the right suit to score Harold's ace. There was another slam on Board 12 with twelve top tricks; Kevin made all thirteen on a pseudo-squeeze. Glynneth had the unusual experience of making a doubled contract for a below-average score on Board 9; E-W were vulnerable and usually -2 or worse.??
