Re: Apolgies for Game Mix-Up

Because human-Robot pairs are deemed to provide an advantage, the ACBL is barring them from North American Pairs qualifying games. The annoying part is that they don't let clubs opt out. It used to be clubs had to schedule those games and report them with extra fees and higher masterpoint awards, but now we are not even allowed to opt out or we will be fined.

Why would anyone care if Robots play?? Maybe we could have had a game today if Robots were allowed.? Perhaps you could make a suggestion to the ACBL.

The ACBL is going to fine clubs that don't hold NAP qualifying games in the first week of July and August as well as June. Friday will have to be a game without Robots as well but then as far as I know we are good until August. Clubs used to have discretion in the matter but now we are being regimented. Apologies for any inconvenience.
