Boric squeezed out a tight win, passing multiple pairs in the last two rounds, as did Mallys, both pairs finishing with 7-2 round records. All four human-Robot pairs finished in the top eight. The two Larbot pairs met in the fifth round with Stern, L defeating Sherman, L.

Almost all the partials were instructive; we had coping with an opponent's takeout double, downgrading a potential 1NT opening bid, to transfer to a minor or not, whether or not to rebid 1NT with a singleton, and an eighth round all about balancing or pre-balancing. Board 13 had twelve sure top tricks but slam was reached only five times and two of the five Wests decided that not being able to find there wasn't a sure thirteenth trick and the potential pressure of having to find multiple discards made it worth bidding the grand slam. There were four hands on which both sides bid game and three on which every table played the same contract.
