This game was wildly back and forth, starting when the three pairs that won the first round all lost the second. After four rounds the difference between first and last place was only three matchpoints on a 2 top. Cinise pulled ahead by winning both the last two rounds. Board 9 was the tough one of the day; E-W had an easy slam with an overtrick on a successful finesse but the three tables produced only one game and two partials, showing a need for Fourth Suit Forcing.
