I have installed literally hundreds of soft key kits, I have yet to have an issue in any band 160-10. But I’m installing the proper way.

I do have a softkey module installed. I got it from you, early
September last year. At that same time I grounded the grid pins
directly, and did the bias mod that you recommended. It has been
been working better than ever since then.
