New Topic - upgrading encoders

I have an FT-Q and an upgraded FTX v 1.5 with two different step encoders - FT-Q is 4096 and FTX is 5000.? This generally causes much confusion for me and my SkySafari when I'm setting up.? I'm using an AstroDevices Nexus and a Nexus DSC respectively.?? My thought is to update?both mounts to 10,000 step encoders, but the link to 10k encoders on a post here shows that they are larger at 2.something inches.?? Does anybody have recommendations for encoders which would be drop-in compatible for both the FT-Q and FTX?? I'd like to keep those nice machined covers. Thanks in advance! Spencer
