Do you (or anyone else) have such a tape that I could get a copy of?
The other part of your requested changes have been completed. The only thing remaining is the support for BLOCKTAP format request. I'd like to have one I could test with. Thanks.
In Files, in the folder VMWORKSHOP is a zip file of the 1987 VM Workshop Tools Tape. You would need to have BLOCKTAP ON to view any of the files beyond the first one, using vmfplc2.
I wasn't aware that a tape could contain mixed formats! That throws a whole new monkey wrench into things. The Hercules VMFPLC2 utility isn't currently designed to handle that situation. I guess I have more work cut out for me than I originally anticipated. :(
My fault, should have said, but sometimes things feel obvious. The idea was that in the days before the Internet you could put the BLOCKTAP module in the first file, so you could then read the rest of the tape.
In any case, thank you Mark. Much appreciated.
