Call for Case Studies of Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Public Health

The Research Triangle Institute (RTI), with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), is issuing a call for case studies where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been or could be applied to programming for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).

The call seeks to review the current landscape of how AI can be used for control, treatment, prediction, diagnosis or other programming of NTDs.

Case studies of an AI application which are:

?

1. Not yet published in peer-reviewed journals; and

?

Only one of these is required

2. Are successful applications and achievements of AI for NTD or other infectious disease programming; or
3. Are successful applications and achievements of AI in fields outside of infectious disease programming; or
4. Are applications where an AI application has not been effective or successful for some reason (explain the reasons for these shortcomings).

A selected number of case studies submitted will be published to contribute to the body of knowledge on potential AI use cases for NTD programs.
