The DIPC project is enhancing digital health systems for vaccine distribution in four African countries (Ghana, Tanzania, Malawi in collaboration with Digital Square, and Sierra Leone in collaboration with?UNICEF) and in Latin America, it is working with PAHO on a pilot in Peru and the Amazonian region, aiming to expand the digital solution region-wide. The initiative also promotes and pilots the WHO SMART guidelines for routine vaccination, strengthens the capacity of digital health specialists with the support of?the Regenstrief Institute, and conducts research for improved programming in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute.

As part of our project and as side event to this year’s World Health Summit in Berlin, we are addressing the digitalization in the health sector during our interactive event to which we would like to invite you:

?“滨尘尘别谤蝉别 DIPC: Connect and Scale Digital Health Innovation“,?on October 15 from 16:30 to 19:30 at the GIZ Repr?sentanz in Berlin Reichpietschufer 20, 10785 Berlin (register ).

The event is jointly organized by? PAHO, GIZ, Unicef, Path/Digital Square, Regenstrief Institute, and the Robert Koch Institute as collaborators in the Digital Innovation In Pandemic Control Initiative (DIPC) and aims to bring together stakeholders in digital health, showcase the impact of DIPC as early adopter of the WHO SMART guidelines in Africa and Latin America and explore scalable approaches and opportunities for national and global collaboration beyond 2025.?

Event highlights will be:?

·??????? Spotlight presentations: Hear from partner countries and implementing partners about the progress and impact of digital health initiatives.?

·??????? Interactive deep dive with experts: Engage directly with DIPC and GIZ digital programs through thematic activities.?

·??????? Call to action: Conclude the evening with a general call for action to support the ongoing initiatives, followed by a reception.??
