A 32bit W10 laptop sounds like a very good candidate for a dedicated G8JCFSDR SDR machine. ie clean the machine of everything else, then? install just the G8JCFSDR.
The main benefit of the Teensy standalone SDR RX would be the form factor, ie the packaging, I got it all packaged into a 15 x 4 x 20 cm box, but I didn't include a built-in battery, so overall, the use of a ?100 laptop and an Elektor SDR with a powerbank was the simplest/easiest solution.
