Radio amateurs in Essex, Suffolk, Surrey, Sussex, Dorset and other counties will be calling CQ on 2m FM this Saturday, March 28 between 1pm and 4pm.
The Thurrock Acorns Amateur Radio Club decided to arrange the Saturday afternoon activity session to get people talking on 2 metres, encourage newly licensed amateurs to join in and boost activity on the band.
