Club callbook listings update
Each affiliated club should have recently received a letter from the RSGB, regarding updating of club information for publication in the next edition of the Callbook, which will be available from September. A copy of the letter is attached for reference.

Monday the 2nd of June is the cutoff date for any updates required before the information on record goes to print. Clubs are encouraged to check their current entry and submit updates to the RSGB, these can be online via

Special event station for T/Wells CCF.
A special event callsign GB1TWG has been issued and will be aired on Friday the 27th of June, to mark CCF activities that will be happening at the Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School on that day.

Further details relating to the events and operations will be posted on QRZ.com under GB1TWG. Operators of this SES will be using an assortment of military radios, and looking to make contacts with local amateurs around Kent primarily on the HF bands.

West Kent Radio and Electronics Fair.
As a reminder this event is taking place near Tunbridge Wells, on Sunday the 14th of September. A number of trader bookings have already been made, and further details can be found at

Kent migration into Region 10.
As from this Sunday the 1st of June, Kent officially moves into RSGB region 10. Please remember to mark this on any reports you submit to the RSGB for mention in RadCom or on GB2RS, so that your news may be reported in the correct news sections.

The recruitment for new and returning RSGB members continues, whereby the new member and an established member may each receive a ?10 RSGB book voucher, while if a club introduces a new member the club receives ?10 toward their funds.
