I checked the parts lists and the documentation and no where does it give the exact part size. I tried to measure the dimensions with a my caliper and came up with 5mm X 2.5mm which seems to be the same as one of the plugs listed in the Radio Shack catalog. I hope this helps. 73's Julio ----- Original Message ----- From: n6tqs@... To: FT817@... Sent: Sunday, June 03, 2001 4:24 PM Subject: [FT817] Power connector for Z11? Can someone tell me easily what power connector the Z11 uses? I'm building cables for my power supply system, and figured I'd to get a jump on it. 73, doug Yahoo! Z11. However, unlike the one on the FT-817, it seems to be a very common size as I found I had a half dozen wall warts laying around (left over from some relic of the past) that all had the right connecter and all work just fine with the Z11. ---- 73, Rich - W3ZJ -----Original Message-----

According to my Z-11 Manual, the power connector is a 5.5 X 2.5 mm coaxial connector. I got mine at Radio Shack, but don't have access to the RS part number. Hope this helps, 72, Bill W4RK ----- Original Message -----
