Bonnie, I have a gut feeling the rig will be as the 706/ft100 in that you will be able to open full tx coverage but not just add MARS freqs yourself,i'm sure some other mod will be needed until

No John, The rig is menu programmable to do either v-uhf & hf ie. all bands at the bnc (front) or SO239 (rear) it will come shipped with 6 2 70 on bnc & 1.6-30 on SO239. cheers John G0VGZ.
