Really too many unknowns (like price) to make a decision now.
I will say that Yaesu is *obviously* 'gunning' for the IC-705, and they've got their work cut out for them.

If and only if it has band information and transmit inhibit.? I want these plus the band scope for my IF radio in the Rover.? Otherwise no.

Good question but hard to answer until an FTX-1F exists, we still don't
even know if it will meet the specs they have claimed. When there is one

There is a Paypal link.
But perhaps the OP should make clear the "Donation" link says "Sponsor".? I looked for several minutes trying to find something that says donate...
