You've got "Supply Voltage Display" on (page 18 in the 817nd manual). The setting is in the CHG, VLT, DSP row of the display selections. Press the F key, turn the SEL knob to the "CHG, VLT, DSP"

Steve, it appears the board is actually burned also. Hopefully you can remove the damaged parts. Take a look at this article to adjust the bias current.
