Our club was QRP this year and I worked PSK31 with my 817 with a MP-1
and Z-11 tuner. Only problem I had was interference from OUR clubs 20
and 40 meter CW stations. They had dipoles at about 30 feet and my
MP-1 was at gound level. Next year I will have a dipole up too. Other
than that I made quite a few contacts (one in Columbia), missed a JA1
when some west coast "big gun" stomped me but had a great time. Oh,
don't get wrong the MP-1 works great, but just don't get it near
other antennas.
