Things have been a bit quiet from me for a little while.
The reason is a batch of changes to FTBasic that I hope
will be beneficial to some:
1. three new fields for CSV memory files - should be upwards
compatible with earlier versions
a. Scan yes/no (also sets/resets the skip scan flag in the rig)
b. Group identifier for memories
c. Long description
2. a new window used for attaching CSV files to the memory
system. Has full editing facilities, plus sorting by column
3. Can now use in-band and cross-band split frequency pairs
that are defined in an attached CSV file (only FT817 at present
but FT100 soon, then FT847 using software TX switching)
4. Frequencies.txt file gone; timed activities gone. Can be re-
instated if necessary.
5. New scanning facilities using 3 filters on group identifier
to scan subsets of a CSV file.
This is a Beta release and I am hoping for some feedback of
your thoughts on the CSV attached memories facilities. I am sure
there is a lot more use that could be made of this approach - say
to Save only shown memories (create subsets of files). Perhaps
it would be better to leave serious file editing to Excel or the
like?
