I need to operate the 817 via a motel room. What are my choices of a
good antenna. Does the MP-1 really work, what abt Yo-Yo dipoles?
How do folks operate from a motel room with results? Is the MP-1
workable with an anlyzer to tune dead on freq?
I have heard/read good/bad results. The optimum would be a dipole
and
abt 70 feet.
I can't believe the MP-1 is that bad, mobile I use Outbacker and Atas
and get good contacts. With 5 watts the challenge begins!
